MSI ha recently revealed the new Nvidia Geforce 9800GX2 card at CeBIT 2008. While MSI is not the first company to do so, however they did not want to wait any longer to showcase the the top of the line card, which consists of two 8800GT (G92 Chipsets) cards in SLI and 1GB total GDDR3 memory.

The card will be able to run on motherboards that dont have SLI support as it only uses one PCI-E port, and for SLI-Compatible motherboards, the options of a Quad Sli are also open!
Named the N9800GX2-M2D1G modelĀ by MSI, it consists of two DVI ports for digital signal output, and also feature an HDMI interface and an HDTV output.
In all likelihood, the card will set new performance records – provided SLI-optimized games are used. For further updates and benchmarks, keep visiting L33tZone

It will be damn expensive .

Well, im hoping it will be in the 600$ range, as it will be the flagship, and the 9800GTX following behind in the 500/550$ range.
i think ill wait 4 yrs till nvidia knocks off this toy-with-ati marketing (strategy)tragedy and starts making good cards again. not just modded cards with new names
Yes it will lol maybe more than Ultra!
9800GTX will be same card like 8800GTS 512MB soo dont exept much…
Best choice is again 9800GT
The ***GT Series always Rocks
.. I currently own a 7900GT and it totally Rocks, esp when oc’ed!
It’s amazing how this type of marketing scams can be pulled by just altering the same product over and over again. I want to see new technology not more of the same thing. Do we have to have a new video card model every 6 months? My 8800GTS will do just fine until I see something that’s really worth upgrading for.
Id wait for the X (or 10) series nvidia, coz ive got a 7900gt, and it still rocks
Oc’ing helps sqeueez more out of it, where there are performances issues
I still have a 512Mb 8600GTS and theres nowt wrong with it!! I’ll wait a while till 10800GT comes out if thats what they’ll call it?? who knows!
When do you guys think this will be released ?
